In cold climates, Heater Cap is a must!
Ice and snow builds up in gutters and begins a cycle of freezing and
thawing (ice-damming), causing gutter seams to break and gutters to
loosen. The back up of ice behind gutters causes moisture damage to
the fascia and roof.

Gutter Cap with Heater Cap is guaranteed to prevent your gutters from clogging –
leaves, acorns, moss, cottonseed… you name it. They WILL NOT CLOG…
period.
Heater Cap will prevent future costly
repairs or injuries that could easily exceed the cost of installation.
Heater Cap mounts on top of the gutter
protection and in the gutters. The Heat Cable is also laid into the
downspouts. The cable is hard wired into the circuit breaker. A switch
is added to turn on and off when needed. The installation may be done
on partial or whole house applications.
The patented design of Heater Cap
allows rainwater to adhere to the dome of the cap while leaves and
debris are prevented from entering the gutter. The existing gutter
system is now a free-flowing roof drainage system throughout the year
that also protects against ice and snow build-up. The Heater Cap uses
an encapsulated low voltage wire that disperses heat on the gutter
protection, in the gutters, and through the downspouts. Since the
cable is hard-wired, keeping the snow and ice out of the gutters is as
easy as flipping a switch!
